PUBLIC NOTICE — NIMBIN LAW OFFICE CLOSURE

The Nimbin Law office at 50 Cullen Street will permanently close on Friday 11 December 2026.

Nimbin Law and Spains Solicitors are trading names of the same incorporated legal practice, Law For You Pty Ltd.

From 11 December 2026, Law For You Pty Ltd will phase out then cease using (but will retain) the Nimbin Law name and will continue to practise under the Spains Solicitors name from its Byron Bay and Gold Coast offices, where that name (operating in Australia since the 1840s) is longer established.

Existing client matters

All current matters being carried by Nimbin Law will continue without interruption. The legal practice responsible for each matter will remain Law For You Pty Ltd.

Aaron Dower will continue as Principal and will remain available to assist clients into the future.

Wills, deeds and other safe custody documents

Law For You Pty Ltd will remain the legal custodian of all wills, deeds and other original documents previously deposited with Nimbin Law for safe custody.

These documents are not being transferred to another law practice. They will continue to be held securely by Law For You Pty Ltd following the closure of the Nimbin office.

Clients and authorised persons may continue to enquire about or request access to safe custody documents by contacting Spains Solicitors using the details below. Documents will be released only after satisfactory verification of identity and signed authority.

Appointments

Communication by email is preferred for reasons of efficiency, but appointments will be available by telephone or audiovisual link.

Where a face-to-face meeting is necessary, arrangements may be made at our Byron Bay office or, by prior appointment, at our Gold Coast office, or at Birth & Beyond, 54 Cullen Street, Nimbin. Please do not attend Birth & Beyond without a confirmed appointment.
